What

Can
I get a Six Pack (Abdominals) with the workouts in this system
?
The truth of the matter is, despite what dodgy infomercials would
have you believe is that ‘abs’ or a six pack are not
made in the gym for the most part but in the kitchen. Many people
actually have perfectly reasonable abs but those abs are covered
by a layer of fat so you cant’ see them.
No amount of crunches,
sit ups or any other weird variation with a machine will make
your six pack appear unless your sporting a low enough body fat
to ensure they are visible.
We have had many FLR customers
end up with great looking abdominals but it’s the result
of following the FLR diet first and foremost and ensuring you
follow the workouts we give you in addition.
There is NO secret or magic

Is
this system for men and woman ?
Yes, the FLR system is for both men and women looking
to lose fat. I do make a few changes based on sex in the exercise
section, in fact we actually have a section just for woman who
are new to resistance training, it contains full photographs and
explanations and target’s women’s problem areas. That
said, in general despite some very misleading information out
there, men and women’s bodies react to pretty much the exact
same dietary advice as each other.

What
do you cover in the e-book?
"What don't I cover in the e-book" is probably
a better question. The e-book starts with a complete discussion
of weight loss supplements, since that's often the first thing
people ask about when they want to lose weight. Beyond supplements,
the basics of nutrition are covered, along with a basic set of

Why
do I have to exercise? Why is burning calories better than simply
eating less food?
Sure, you can lose weight by eating as little as possible
- although you won't like the results. For most people who do
this, weight loss comes to a screeching halt in a few weeks, due
to the "starvation response" that kicks in from prolonged,
low energy intake. Exercise allows you to eat more food - which
helps keep your metabolism higher and provides more nutrients.
Strength training also reduces the loss of lean body mass. You
can't assume that weight loss = fat loss. Even if they manage
to achieve their goal weights, most dieters who don't train end
up as "skinny fat" - with saggy, soft bodies that still
have unattractive bulges. This is because a lot of their "weight
loss" was actually muscle loss, and their body fat percentage
is still quite high. The lost muscle also means that their ability
to burn calories is also reduced, which makes it easier to gain
fat back - all that was lost, and more besides!

Do
I have to spend hours each day exercising?
Nope - in fact, the opposite is true. When it comes to
exercise, more is NOT better. Overtraining is a great way to LOSE
lean body mass. Keeping your workouts short and efficient is a
priority. You shouldn't kill yourself doing aerobics. You shouldn't
kill yourself in the gym. If you exercise the right way - you
won't have to.

Do
I have to join a gym?
No. Most of the recommended exercises in the e-book can
be done at home with a minimum of equipment: some dumbbells and
a proper bench. A gym can certainly expand your options, but it
isn't a necessity.

I'm
a woman I just want to get toned. Is the FLR System right for
me?
Definitely yes! For one thing, it's difficult for women to get
large - even intentionally - due to the hormonal differences between
women and men. For another, it's not easy to add a lot of muscle
mass - even for men - when you're consuming fewer calories. Putting
on a lot of muscle requires a lot of food! At least 50% of our
members are women.
Women need muscle just
as much as men do to look "toned" and also to combat
the loss of lean body mass that naturally occurs with aging.

Can
I gain much muscle on the FLR program.
The FLR System is about losing fat and gaining energy
and being healthier in general. FLR is really not a muscle gain
program, gaining muscle and losing fat at the same time is extremely
hard to do and those trying to gain muscle whilst losing fat simply
tend to end up losing less fat than they could have.
Of course some people who
have never really worked out before do gain some lean muscle on
this program, but the scales will not indicate this as your losing
body fat at a far greater rate , but in general FLR could not
be classified as a muscle gain program. It’s no1 priority
is fat loss.

How much weight can I lose and how fast
using this program?
The FLR program is not
designed to help you lose weight; it's designed to help you lose
FAT - which is a very different thing.
When you go on an extreme
“crash” diet, you can lose a lot of weight at first.
Most of the lost weight is simply water, however. Only a small
amount of fat is actually lost. And you can guess what happens
when you stop dieting: you'll gain it all back within a week or
two.
Diets that cause extremely
fast weight loss provide a temporary emotional lift since you
can see progress on the scale, but the mirror will tell a very
different story. In the end, you'll lose at least as much - if
not more - muscle than fat. Along with that, you'll lose strength
and energy, and damage your metabolism. Then, after you go off
the diet, you’ll gain the weight back. Even worse, you may
end up fatter than you were before you started.
I deal purely with fat
loss. When you concentrate on fat loss, the numbers on the scale
drop at a slow and steady pace. More importantly, so do the inches.
I've had people tell me they've dropped two sizes while barely
losing a pound! That's because they've lost fat - and gained muscle.
A pound of muscle weighs the same as a pound of fat, but it takes
up a lot less space.
Depending on how much fat
you have to lose, you can safely lose approximately 2 lbs. of
fat per week. If you are over 300 lbs., you may lose at a faster
rate initially: more like 3 - 4 lbs. per week. People who are
already reasonably lean, but want to get even leaner, may lose
more slowly - 1 - 1 1/2 lbs. per week.
On the FLR program, you'll
lose fat at a rate that is both safe and healthy - and permanent.
When you're done, you'll look lean and sculpted, not saggy and
baggy.
Other weight loss programs
say I can lose up to 20 lbs. in just 3 weeks. Why should I use
the FLR System if I'll lose weight more slowly?
Ads like this are deceptive.
The phrase "up to" is an escape clause. They're not
promising that you will lose 20 lbs. in 3 weeks - they're simply
saying that someone, somewhere, lost that much. In other words,
it's a maximum, and your results will vary. And you can take my
word for it: your results will vary.
In addition, there's a
BIG difference between weight loss and fat loss. When you see
ads like that, you need to ask yourself: "20 lbs. of what?"
People who have lost weight at that rate haven't actually lost
a lot of fat. They've lost a lot of water and muscle. And that's
not what we want.
Slow fat loss is far superior
to rapid weight loss. Beyond being healthier for your body, you're
also learning the habits and discipline it takes to achieve permanent
results. Fitness is a lifestyle, and it takes time to unlearn
bad habits and relearn good ones. What's the point of losing weight,
if you're going to gain it all back (and maybe more) after the
diet's done?

Do
I have to take a lot of supplements or eat special foods on this
program?
No. While there are some

I too old for your program?
